Thousands of garbage posters and counting.

Does any of this sound familiar?

📝You’ve rewritten the same caption eleven times… and still haven’t posted it.
🦗You post twice. Hear crickets. And go back into hiding for a month.
🫣You know you “should be more visible.” Your nervous system says: absolutely not.
🤔You watch people who post all the time and wonder: how do they DO that?

You don’t have a discipline problem. You have a perfectionism problem.
And perfectionism can’t stand one thing:
permission to do it “badly.”

How to play

1

Make 100 things

If you wrote it and hit publish, it counts. A post, an IG Story, a newsletter, a video, a podcast – it all counts.

2

Call it garbage

None of your posts are actually “garbage.” We are saying this in a tongue-in-cheek way to bypass your inner perfectionist.

3

Feed the goblin

Log every post in your animated tracker – it saves your progress – or print one. I’ll be in your inbox all month with insights, tips + encouragement to make sure you finish.

Try the play version of the tracker below. The real one saves your progress, so you can close the tab, come back tomorrow, and pick up right where you left off.

The garbage goblin The garbage goblin, mouth stuffed full of garbage posts

0 / 100 posts

Go on. Pretend you just posted something. Feed it to the goblin.

The goblin is stuffed!

That’s as far as the play version goes. The real tracker holds all 100, remembers every one, and ends with a certificate.

This time, we’re doing it together.

The first-ever live round. Same game, same goblin, a lot more company.

Imagine if 10,000 of us stopped hiding.

Simone Grace Seol

hi, it’s me!

I’m Simone Grace Seol, the original garbage poster.

Nearly a decade ago, a coaching client told me she wants to spend more time on her hobby: leatherwork. But perfectionism kept her out of the studio. So I told her: “Don’t go in, trying to make something ‘good.’ That’s too much pressure. Go in to make something garbage.” She laughed, but she took my advice… and ended up going to the studio way more. And guess what? The quality of the work got better, too.

I started telling that story to people who were scared to post. It disarmed their inner perfectionist every time. That’s where the Garbage Post Challenge came from. I’ve also spent over a decade teaching about creativity, spirituality and business, and I host the Liberatory Business podcast.

Everything you need to get to 100

Challenges are easy to start but hard to finish. So I built a whole support system around this one.

What happens when you let it be garbage

“My first Garbage Post challenge had an 800% increase in engagement. The second one gained me 20,000 followers. But most importantly, the GPC gives you so much data and insight into what posts work and what doesn’t. And it forces you to confront your relationship with your creativity and your visibility all at once. 100/10 Can’t recommend it enough!!”

@dr.luyikathyzhang

“I didn’t even do it for a full month but it blew apart my fears re posting and brought me to a place where I post out of JOY and WONDER. And I’ve found my groove as well as my like-minded people. A big fucking deal for an autistic who has struggled with ‘being perceived’ my entire life.”

@robinbirdwell

“The GPC is one of the things I point all my clients to when they’re just getting started, or if they’re stuck in a defeated, dysfunctional relationship with their messaging and/or communications. It’s genius and it solves so many problems all at once!”

@angiecole_me

“I’ve completed it successfully one time to immense success, but I also ‘failed’ it twice, still getting dynamite results. I’m overjoyed, I’m full, I’m no longer drowning in anxiety when I open social media. My nervous system feels more safe.”

Sarah Taylor

“The GPC was how I got out of a rut with my account and finally started growing!!! I’ve recommended it to so many people!”

@georgi_anna_fitzpatrick

“By the end of GPC, there was no longer a struggle for my voice to be heard. I started writing freely… And eventually, wrote my first book 🙌 I did not expect any of this to happen, but it just did.”

Questions from first‑timers

Wait – are we actually trying to make bad content?

Nope. Calling something “garbage” is just a trick to outsmart your perfectionist brain. You still care about what you post. You just stop requiring every post to be a masterpiece before you’re allowed to hit publish.

What counts as a garbage post?

It has human words and it is published. That’s it. Email, newsletter, Instagram Story, blog post, podcast, video – it all counts.

I barely have an audience. Is this still for me?

Yes. An audience of 37 people is still an audience! And far more people are interested in you + keeping up with you than you realize. Posting a lot also happens to be one of the fastest ways to grow. When you show up every day, more people find you. Tons of garbage posters see their reach completely take off in 30 days.

What if I miss a day? Did I ruin the challenge?

Nope! Just come back and post again.

Do I have to start on Oct 13?

Nope. Your Day 1 email comes the day you join, and your 30 days start whenever you do. Join now and get a head start, or jump in any day during the live round.

I’m joining after Oct 13. Am I too late?

Not at all. Jump in anytime. Your challenge runs on your own schedule, and you’ll be posting alongside everyone else who’s already in the game.

Is it really free? What’s the catch?

It’s really free. You’ll get the tracker, the FAQ, the podcast library and a month of GPC emails. And yes, you’ll hear about my paid programs too – that’s part of how I get to keep making free things like this. Take what helps, and unsubscribe anytime.

100 posts. 30 days. One very full goblin.

Live round starts Oct 13

Come feed the goblin. Worst case, you’ve added 100 things to your body of work. Best case, you become visible, sought out, and paid.

Free. GPC support emails + regular Simone emails. Unsubscribe anytime.
